I doubted myself, but I managed to reclaim the WR on tonight's stream with a time of 4m 39s, VOD here, runs page updated also (but still needs a quick revamp to show more clearly who runs belong to). I'm going to try to avoid doing a bulleted list for once and just write a few paragraphs instead:
It was tight. I actually nearly tied NaiveSquirrel's previous WR earlier in the stream - his exact time was 4:44.55 and I put one in at 4:44.72. My record run wasn't totally optimal either, it was actually kind of mediocre except on the last couple splits - so another WR is definitely up for grabs without being too far out of reach, I think.
For now, I'm going to go back to focusing on 100% and also maybe trying to speedrun Sable any% since it looks like it's reasonable to attempt with the WR being ~14m or so. I've actually completed a few of runs (untimed) and it's appealing to me. I really loved the game and its whole vibe, the run involves some glitching and etc., so it seems like a good evolution of this project without being too daunting.
I'm hemming and hawing about doing more streams at this point, I've kind of gone through the motions. For now, I'm tentatively planning to stream again next Tuesday at 8pm ET (normal time) either Sable any% runs, Drakklor 100%, or Drakklor any% if Mr. Squirrel beats my time by then (which I suspect he may). But don't be totally surprised if I cancel and just switch to playing offline again.
