tl;dr I completed my first two runs for the 100% format during last night's stream and uploaded the better one to YouTube. Some random thoughts:
- The run doesn't feel too daunting. There are several more chances of causing fail states and I think a higher risk of dying early on, but nothing that makes it painful like a really finicky puzzle or prevalent RNG. Onward-ho to optimizing!
- I haven't thought too much about optimizing yet - that will come later. For now, I just want to put in a decent number of runs in the 100% format.
- Stream was quiet, which shouldn't be surprising. I'll probably do a couple more streams and then stop, which has basically been my plan all along.
- Also, I was a bit annoyed that my VM was acting wonky at the start of my stream when I was trying to do a Cheat Engine explainer. Virtualbox normally is the MVP, but lately I've been having issues with losing K/M control on Windows VMs across several different computers - hoping it gets fixed soon. I don't think I'm going to bother trying to redo the explainer - if I really wanted to I could record it offline using RDP to bypass the K/M issue (I know that works). I've kind of soured on the idea for now though I think.
That's it.
